I have been with Tata Steel Limited, since July 2011, having come to the company from a distinguished academic and professional career. After graduating B-Tech Honors with Mechanical Engineering in 2009, and was a recent post graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, in 2011, with specialization in process modelling under the supervision of Dr Dipak Mazumdar from Material and Metallurgical Engineering  department.I am responsible for providing  solutions  for various industrial heating problems within the organization,  currently  working on two major projects that involve Heat Transfer coupled  with CFD using COMSOL Multiphysics for rationalization of the wire rod mill parameter to reduce the 10% rejection in production owing to insufficient cooling by the Stelmor line  and   second, Induction heating  of  the strand wire for stress relieving operation. I have closed two of my Projects  before this fiscal year , were based on preheating phenomena of Galvanized Zinc pot in Cold Rolling Mill of Tata Steel and Study of the flue Gases  pattern in Lead bath used by  Tube mill using the ANSYS Package.
